Product Details
Los Pollitos Dicen soft 100% cotton 1x1 rib onesies and tees are
hatched in the USA. Each custom-dyed tee is packaged in an exclusively
designed wooden craft box and includes a colorful informational graphic
in English.
Our Sizes
Our red and yellow designs are sized 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month
onesies; 2T and 4T t-shirts.
Our blue and pink designs are sized 0 to 6 month, 6 to 12 month; 2T
and 4T.
Our first onesie designs (the reds and yellows) run small, so unless
it's a newborn gift, please buy a larger size.
All four colors are the same great quality, just cut a little
differently. Eventually, all our onesies will be sized 0 to 6 and 6 to
12 months.
The T-shirts in all four colors run true to size - in other words, a 2T
will fit the average walkin', babblin', toddlin' 1 to 2-year-old and
even 3-year-old.

About Us
We are the South Florida-born children of Cubanos. We grew up speaking Spanish, eating guava pastries,
celebrating Noche Buena and dancing merengue – often y con gusto - with our multitude of primos.
We met, however, in Music City — home and heartbeat of country music. We worked together at the local
newspaper: Carrie as a reporter and Oscar as a graphic designer.
We bonded by the newsroom microwave. Oscar heated up a lot of TVP (don’t tell Mami) and Carrie swigged a lot
of tepid coffee.
Ours was an instant friendship. And how could it not be? Not too many people in Nashville knew what “Sana,
sana culito de rana’’ meant.
We dreamt up Los Pollitos Dicen a year after Carrie’s own baby chick, Maria Felice, was born. Choosing a
name for our venture came easily, for the lullaby Los Pollitos Dicen (The little chicks say)
has been sung softly to generations of babes throughout Latin America. It's about maternal instinct
and warmth. It's about purely loving your gordito, your fiera, your candela como nada mas.
The vision came easily too: To celebrate Spanish and heritage through hipness and to capture the unique
color and colloquialisms of our people. It is fertile ground.
We are so proud of our collaboration and we are thrilled to offer sweet baby and toddler tees that are
both preservation, and introduction, of culture.
By the way, we don’t work for a newspaper anymore. Carrie’s a fulltime mama hen to Los Pollitos and to
Maria Felice, who is being raised bilingue in the green hills of Tennessee. Oscar is a
Philadelphia-based artist and the official Los Pollitos chicken scratcher, aka ¡Tio! ¡Tio! ¡Tio!
Sing Along!
The little chicks say peep, peep, peep
when they are hungry, when they are cold.
The mother hen looks for corn and wheat
she gives them food, and grants them shelter.
Under mama’s wings, huddling up,
Sleep the little chicks until the next day.
